LOS ANGELES, May 18 — The queen of pop announces a new song.
The singer posted an image that seems to be accompanying artwork for the song on her social media platforms. The picture features Madonna wearing a crown of thorns under the words Beautiful Game.
“That I never Learned.............Coming Soon!” she captioned the image, ending with music-themed emojis. She also tagged French producer Mirwais (Ahmadzai), her collaborator on the record.
Madonna performed the song Beautiful Game at the Met Gala on May 8, 2018.
“It's a beautiful plan, but I'm not concerned, it's a beautiful game, that I never learned, you have taught me to shut my mouth, that I not get burned, keep your beautiful lies, 'cause I'm not concerned,” sang the pop star.
Mirwais previously worked on her albums Music, American Life and Confessions on a Dance Floor, as well as co-wrote a song that appeared on her greatest hits album Celebration.
Madonna announced in January 2018 that she was working on her 14th studio album. Regular social media updates since have kept her fans posted on progress.
