LOS ANGELES, June 17 — On the day her long-awaited sophomore album finally drops, Lorde has revealed she’ll head out on a major North American tour in support of the LP beginning in March.
With positive reviews rolling in for Melodrama, the follow-up to her star-making debut album, Pure Heroine, Lorde is gearing up for her Melodrama World Tour. The North American trek will begin March 1 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is set to visit major venues in the US and Canada, with a final stop in Nashville on April 15.
The artist has a number of international shows on her schedule before the North American tour leg gets under way. On September 26, she’ll begin a European tour in Manchester, with additional UK dates as well as shows in the Netherlands, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Sweden and Norway scheduled to follow through October 19.
On November 7, the artist heads to her homeland for seven shows in New Zealand before performing in Australia November 18-26.
Tickets go on sale Friday, June 23 for the newly announced North American shows. European fans can get tickets as of Friday, while the Australian and New Zealand shows will go on sale on Monday.
