LOS ANGELES, Feb 24 — Anna Kendrick learns what the sad truth on what it’s like to be stuck at a table with a bunch of random people that the bride and groom felt obligated to invite in upcoming romantic comedy Table 19.
Kendrick plays Eloise, who finds herself stuck at a table of people she barely knows after she shows up at a wedding where her former boyfriend (who dumped her via text) is serving as the best man.
Watch as Eloise manages to form a bond with her fellow misfit wedding guests and maybe find a new love interest along the way as well.
The movie also stars Lisa Kudrow, Craig Robinson, June Squibb, Stephen Merchant, Tony Revolori and Wyatt Russell.
The synopsis of the film reads: “Ex-maid of honour Eloise (Kendrick) — having been relieved of her duties after being unceremoniously dumped by the best man via text — decides to hold her head up high and attend her oldest friend’s wedding anyway. She finds herself seated at the ‘random’ table in the back of the ballroom with a disparate group of strangers, most of whom should have known to just send regrets (but not before sending something nice off the registry). As everyone’s secrets are revealed, Eloise learns a thing or two from the denizens of Table 19. Friendships — and even a little romance — can happen under the most unlikely circumstances.”
Table 19 is set for release on March 3.
