KUALA LUMPUR, March 23 — One of Malaysia’s top indie rock bands, Bittersweet, is finally making a comeback after a four-year hiatus from the local music industry!

This year, the English-singing rock band which hails from Ipoh is set to launch their highly anticipated third album BTSWT at the second edition of the music-centric flea market A Sunday Affair (ASA) at TREC KL.

In case you didn’t notice, the name of the album derives from the band’s own name but without the vowels (including “r” because it is a rhotic consonant).

But enough with the English lesson, the local independent British pop rock band will headline the second ASA along with some other local acts like Froya, +2dB, Tubby, Jee Hoe, Irama, MMMeng as well as ASA’s curators LapSap, made up of DJ Blink and DJ XU.

Taking place this Sunday, March 27, the second edition of ASA is set to be even bigger than last year in terms of its games and activities as there will be a life-size Jenga game, Beer Pong and some vintage retro games like the good ol’ Atari, Nintendo and Playstation 1.

The upcoming event will also bring in more delicious and famous food trucks and also vendors from all over Klang Valley.

The first edition of ASA featured YouTube sensation from Australia, William Singe along with several local acts including OJ Law, Daphne Charice and Naufal among others. — TheHive.Asia
