LOS ANGELES, March 16 — Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are back with a “R-rated Pixar-style movie” called Sausage Party that is simply hilarious.
Sausage Party revolves around animated food that discover to their horror what happens to them when they leave the grocery store. It features the voice talents of Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, Jonah Hill, James Franco, Craig Robinson, Nick Kroll, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, Paul Rudd, David Krumholtz, Edward Norton, and Salma Hayek.
While the movie is hilarious, do take note that it’s a red-band trailer so there’s pretty strong language involved and food-related violence.
The official synopsis of the movie reads: “Sausage Party” is an ‘R’ rated theatrical animated movie about one sausage’s quest to discover the truth about his existence. After falling out of a shopping cart, our hero sausage and his new friends embark on a perilous journey through the supermarket to get back to their aisles before the 4th of July sale.”
Sausage Party is set for release on August 12.
