LONDON, Nov 24 — Ed Sheeran is set to appear on the big screen, after managing to get a part for himself in the new Bridget Jones movie.
The UK singer announced the surprising news via his Instagram account, posting a selfie of himself with the film’s leading actress Renee Zellweger in the background. He captioned the snap: “Spent the day being an actor in the new Bridget Jones movie. Loved it, you’re gonna love it too.”
The musician joins a stellar cast for the third installment of the franchise, titled “Bridget Jones’s Baby”. As well as Zellweger, the roll-call includes Colin Firth and Patrick Dempsey.
