KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 — Malaysia will have its own version of Comic Con in November.
Komik Kon, based on San Diego’s renowned Comic Con, will be held at MAEPS Serdang.
The fiesta aims to be an annual event for comic lovers, cosplayers, collectors, movie buffs, gamers, artists and animators — be it local or international — to get together under one roof to share, trade and inspire each other at this biggest comic event in Malaysia.
With Marvel and DC Comics going head to head against each other as each of them have movies slated up to 2020, Komik Kon is taking this opportunity to make its official debut in Malaysia with three days full of fun and games.
Komik Kon will run from November 13 to 15. Activities include performances, giveaways and contests.
Some of the activities are cosplay competition, lucky draw, dance performance, light-sabre stunt performance from Force Arts Stunt Team @ FAST, “Cingkus Blues” meet the fans session. — The HiveAsia
