LOS ANGELES, May 21 — Robert De Niro is set to star in a new drama called “The Comedian” about the life of a successful insult comic.
The film, which has been penned by Art Linson and will be overseen by “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” director Mike Newell, is set to start production in November, Deadline reports. It has been in the pipeline for several years. The stand-up material has been scripted by comic writer Jeffrey Ross.
