LOS ANGELES, Nov 22 — Beyoncé has released a new music video reportedly shot entirely on a smartphone.

The pop star dropped the visual clip for 7/11 yesterday, depicting her dancing and joking around in front of the camera.

Shots show her on a hotel balcony in her underwear, hanging with her girlfriends in a bathroom and donning a cat mask in front of a Christmas tree.

Celebuzz reports the video was shot exclusively using behind-the-scenes iPhone footage.

7/11 was one of two songs Bey released yesterday.

The other, Ring Off, joins the former as part of her upcoming box set, Beyoncé Platinum.

The release comes nearly a year after the 33-year-old shocked the world with the surprise release of her self-titled fifth solo record, boasting 14 songs and 17 videos — one for each track plus three bonus promos.

At the time, the star explained she was “bored” with the traditional methods of releasing music, and hoped her efforts would prove trailblazing.

“I didn’t want to release my music the way I’ve done it. I am bored with that,” she stated. “I feel like I am able to speak directly to my fans. There’s so much that gets between the music, the artist and the fans. I felt like I didn’t want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it’s ready and from me to my fans.”
