NEW DELHI, Nov 25 — A Hindi language biography of late Vietnamese president Ho Chi Minh has been published in India, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.
The 115-page book recounts Minh’s daily life, thoughts and revolutionary periods, and contains his poems and demonstrations of warms feelings towards India through his meetings with the country’s leaders and people.
The book also includes 22 photo pages capturing Minh’s revolutionary life and moments in India.
In the biography’s foreword, Indian Council for Cultural Relations president Karan Singh said the book aims to deepen Indians’ understanding of the late revolutionary leader.
The book was authored by Indian–Vietnam Solidarity Committee in West Bengal state president, Geetesh Sharma.
Ho was prime minister (1945–1955) and president (1945–1969) of the former Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam). — Bernama
