KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 22 — Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) today announced that its international reserves stood at RM408.5 billion, or equivalent to US$95.1 billion, as at January 15, 2016.

“The reserves position is sufficient to finance 8½ months of retained imports and is 1.1 times the short-term external debt,” the central bank said in a statement today. — Bernama
