PETALING JAYA, March 2 — DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang suffered a minor injury to his forehead after slipping in the toilet at his home in Gelang Patah, Johor last night.
In a statement by the party’s headquarters, Lim was stated as having been given immediate treatment at a clinic near his home.
“The doctor has advised that he take a good rest.
“He is cancelling all his scheduled events this weekend, which includes a coffee shop forum in Gelang Patah this morning and another one in Pekan Nenas on Saturday morning,” it said.
Lim, who was slated to attend the 4th anniversary commemoration event for the MH370 tragedy on Saturday afternoon in Kuala Lumpur, will be absent for the event.
“A new date will be fixed for his scheduled visit to Sg Pelek and Sepang this Sunday. He will also not be able to attend the PKR fundraising dinners in Setia Alam on Sunday night.”
