GEORGE TOWN, Nov 5 — Water supply for Jesselton Heights, Jalan Air Terjun, Pulau Tikus and all nearby areas has resumed, the Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP) announced about an hour ago.
The water supply to Air Rajah Road, Gottlieb Road, Fettes Park, Pepper Estate, Hong Seng Estate, Mount Erkine and all nearby areas is also back to normal.
However, due to a power failure in the Farlim pump house, there is water supply interruption to the Farlim housing area stretching from Paya Terubong to SRJK © Kong Min School, Taman Angsana and surrounding areas.
“Emergency response actions are being implemented by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and PBAPP personnel to address the issue,” the statement read.
Water supply to Farlim is projected to return to normal in about five hours.
