KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 ― Traffic flow on the North-South Expressway was reportedly slow at several stretches as at noon today, according to highway authorities.
A spokesman of the PLUS traffic control centre said that traffic was moving slowly from Sungai Petani to Bertam, Permatang Pauh to Perai, Bandar Cassia to Jawi, Bandar Baru to Alor Pongsu and Changkat Jering to Bukit Berapit.
“Traffic was also moving slowly from the Sungai Perak rest and service area to the Menora Tunnel,” he said, adding that traffic was also moving slowly from Ayer Hitam to Yong Peng in the south.
A spokesman of the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said traffic was smooth on the East Coast Expressway 1 and 2.
