KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 11 ― About 150 members of Hizbut Tahrir Malaysia today walked from the Tabung Haji building to the British High Commission and French Embassy here to submit a memorandum, urging Britain and France to stop air strikes against Syria.
Its spokesperson, Abdul Hakim Othman said the group, representing Muslims in Malaysia urged both countries to cease the air strikes which killed many women and children.
Meanwhile Wangsa Maju deputy police chief DSP Mat Zani Ali when met here, said the handing over of the memorandum was held after Friday prayer.
“Nobody was arrested as they gathered peacefully for one hour and adhered to police regulations,” he said. ― Bernama
