KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 — Datuk Seri Nazir Razak today posted a cryptic message to express hope that local institutions will soon discover the “truth” that Malaysians have been deprived of.

The CIMB Group chairman and brother to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak did not offer details into what institutions should be searching for which truths, but has been outspoken on the controversy surrounding 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).

Taking to Instagram, Nazir posted the image of a sign board bearing the words “Truth. Next Exit”.

“I hope so. Our institutions must get there quickly. Malaysians feeling truth-deprived, depressing and divisive. After truth we can find reconciliation,” he wrote in a caption accompanying the image.Screencapture shows Datuk Seri Nazir Razak’s cryptic Instagram post.

1MDB is currently under investigation by at least four federal agencies over its finances and its RM42 billion debt pile.
