PETALING JAYA, Dec 4 — Police yesterday released the photo-fit of a suspect in the killing of a 74-year-old woman during a robbery on Nov 20.
Dang Wangi police chief ACP Zainol Samah said the man, identified as M. Sasitharan, 45, was believed to be the woman’s neighbour at the Sri Johor flats in Cheras.

Zainol said interrogation of two other suspects detained on the day of the murder showed that Sasitharan played a key role in the case.
Sinapili Sundram’s body was found under a pile of cloth in her bedroom, with her legs and hands bound, and plastic lodged in her mouth.
Her face was bloodied and bruised.
Police said neighbours alerted her children at about 1pm as her front door was open. She usually kept the door shut when she was in.
Her son arrived to find her dead.
Some of her jewellery were missing, leading police to believe the motive of her murder was robbery.
Sinapili, who was a permanent resident in Malaysia and was planning to return to India, had children and grandchildren here.
Neighbours told officers she had spoken to them about returning to her home country and that she would take her valuables, including her jewellery, along with her.
Zainol said a check on Sasitharan showed he had four criminal records for drugs.
He urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the nearest police station.
On the status of the other two suspects, Zainol said the first was still under investigation while the second had been released on police bail.
He did not rule out the possibility of the suspects being under the influence of drugs when they carried out the murder.
