KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 29 — Two years ago today, Three Little Birds Coffee opened in Sentul and to celebrate their second anniversary, they are going to be giving away coffee ALL DAY.
Yes, you read right: FREE coffee. With any purchase, of any value.
Joey Mah, barista/roaster and one of the partners of Three Little Birds Coffee, says they will also be serving a new blend at the Sentul cafe: the Little Bird blend, as the free coffee giveaway is also to celebrate the Little Bird’s birthday.
Who is Little Bird, you ask?
When the cafe first opened, people asked if the three partners — Joey together with Michael Wilson and his wife Amirah Mohammad of Artisan Roast — were represented by the three little birds on the cafe’s logo.
And the answer? Yes, there is Big Bird, Little Bird and Fat Bird.
Amirah is Little Bird and well... the other two, you go figure out who is what.
The Little Bird blend consists of two coffees: El Salvador and Panama. Mah describes it as tasting like cotton candy, “sweet and aromatic.”
“We have been waiting to release this blend for a while now but the quality of Ethiopian coffee dropped so we didn’t buy any this year. But now that we have found a replacement, we are releasing the Little Bird blend in conjunction with our anniversary.”
