LOS ANGELES, Oct 12 — No fewer than 22 world premieres will be unveil at the Los Angeles Auto Show this year, organisers announced.

Among them will be the highly anticipated SUV, Porsche’s Macan.

Other debutants at the show from November 22 to December 1 will be the Nissan Juke Nismo RS and Nismo Concept, four new Mercedes-Benz cars, and two other Porsche models in addition to the Macan.

BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mini, Subaru and Toyota complete the list of car makers promising to unveil brand new vehicles.

In addition to these world premieres, a number of models will have their US debut, after having been unveiled in Frankfurt in September.

Mercedes will acquaint American car enthusiasts with its GLA 250 and S63, while BMW will present its 4 series Coupé, i3 and i8.

Visitors to the show will also be among the first to see the Jaguar C-X17 and Vokswagon e-Golf on American soil.

All of the 56 premieres will be presented in detail in a series of press conferences over the three days preceding the opening of the LA Auto Show, which will be held in the Los Angeles Convention Centre. — AFP/Relaxnews
