CALIFORNIA, Sept 29 — Man’s best friend deserves only the best even when it comes to selfies.
Cue the Pooch Selfie which will is designed to make your pet look at your camera while you’re photographing them. Yup, it can be pretty tough to get your furry friend to sit still and look at the camera while you snap away.
The Pooch Selfie, the brainchild of Jason Hernandez, is a simple plastic accessory that lets you attach a tennis ball to the top of your smartphone, making it much easier to attract the attention of your pet.
It is developed by a company called Clever Dog Products that’s based in San Diego, California and there's currently a Kickstarter campaign to help fund its production.
Each Pooch Selfie kit comes with a squeaky Pooch Selfie ball and a custom smartphone attachment that’ll be compatible with most mobile devices on the market. The ball can be easily taken off the mount and squeaked if you’d like to regain your dog’s attention.
Over 800 backers have already funded the project on Kickstarter with the company already having more than doubled its original funding goal. The Pooch Selfie is expected to be available early next year.
