NEW DELHI, Dec 27 — One of India’s most famous film stars with a reputation for living dangerously, Salman Khan, was bitten by a snake and had to be treated at a hospital.
The incident happened when the actor was trying to remove the snake from his farmhouse in the Panvel area near Navi Mumbai.
“A snake had entered my farmhouse, I took it outside using a stick. Gradually it reached onto my hand. I then grabbed it to release, which is when it bit me thrice,” Salman told reporters after being discharged from the hospital.
The 56-year-old actor said he was given snake antivenom treatments during his six-hour hospital stay.
