LOS ANGELES, April 13 — Zayn Malik looks for love amidst shady dealings in the video for his brand-new single Let Me, which also finds him fending off gangsters in a seaside nightclub.
After teasing the video earlier this week on social media, the former One Direction singer let lose both the track and its cinematic clip today.
As the video opens, Malik is seen hopping out of a taxi and entering a swanky club, where his attention is on a beautiful woman who he later encounters again as he heads up to see the big boss.
After making a shady suitcase exchange on a dock and then delivering the goods back to the boss in a nightclub, he once again runs into his mystery crush, before engaging in hand-to-hand combat in an action-packed sequence.
After his dream woman gets in on the action, the two make a getaway, riding off in a speedboat as the words “to be continued...” appear on the screen.
Let Me is destined for Malik’s second studio album, which follows on from 2016’s Mind of Mine. The action vibe of its video is reminiscent of the singer’s earlier video for Dusk to Dawn, which likewise found him living on the wrong side of the law and riding off into the sunset with a female co-conspirator. — AFP-Relaxnews
