LOS ANGELES, April 13 — French DJ/producer DJ Snake has dropped a video for his single Magenta Riddim that pays tribute to the Indian influence on his music.
Set in India, the video follows a squad of dance-crazed firefighters who are the “pride and joy” of their Telangana town.
The clip was directed by Gal Muggia and Vania Heymann, the duo behind Coldplay’s Up & Up video, and its production relied on experienced talent and crew members from the Telugu-speaking film industry, known as Tollywood.
Magenta Riddim was released in February and got its live premiere in Paris the same month. According to Interscope Records, the DJ has more music in the pipeline, with three new tracks coming in the next four weeks.
DJ Snake is currently at the start of a busy festival season, playing several shows in Asia this month before playing in North America and Europe throughout the summer, including multiple shows in Las Vegas and his home country of France. — AFP-Relaxnews
