HONG KONG, March 14 — Andy Lau is producing a new television drama about the financial industry in Hong Kong.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Trading Floor has been greenlit by Fox Networks Group to launch the company’s Chinese-language television production arm.
Trading Floor will be broadcast globally through Fox’s SCM (formerly Star Chinese Movies) and through OTT platforms, THR added.
Season one of the series will contain five hour-long episodes to be directed by KK Wong who was behind critically acclaimed Hong Kong series The Election.
Lau is currently recuperating at home after being discharged from hospital on Friday.
He was hospitalised for almost two months following a horse-riding accident while filming a commercial near Bangkok on January 17.
