LOS ANGELES, Feb 18 — Previewing a limited edition 11-disc box set of four iconic Grateful Dead live performances, due May 5, 2017, is Morning Dew, taken from one of the band’s most legendary shows.

As well as the May 1977 Cornell University performance, Get Shown The Light will also include live sets from the Veterans’ Memorial Coliseum, Boston Garden, and Buffalo Memorial Auditorium, all recorded the same month by tour engineer Betty Cantor-Jackson.

Each is making its commercial debut, after circulating among fans as bootlegs for decades.

Only 15,000 physical box copy editions of the collection will be made, which includes artwork by Grammy-award winning artist Masaki Koike as well as a producer’s note, in-depth essay, as a book covering the Cornell University Barton Hall performance.

The official dead.net store is taking pre-orders.

In addition, the Cornell performance is confirmed for release on its own on three CDs, five vinyl LPs, as a digital download, and streamed online.
