LONDON, Feb 2 — ‘Uptown Funk’, the Mark Ronson track which features US singer Bruno Mars, has secured a seventh week at the top of the UK Singles Chart.

According to the Official Charts Company, the track has now tallied the most weeks at number 1 since Leona Lewis ‘Bleeding Love’ back in 2007.

Grammy-nominated Irish newcomer Hozier, came in second with ‘Take Me To Church’ while Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas returned to the charts at number 3 with ‘L.A. Love (la la)’, her first UK Top 40 hit since 2007.

Meghan Trainor topped the album charts with her debut record ‘Title’, knocking Mark Ronson off the top spot. Ed Sheeran came in at 2 and Mark Ronson takes the third spot. — Reuters
