NEW YORK, June 12 — Apparently, the Michael Jackson hologram at this year’s Billboard Music Awards was just the beginning. Jackson is the highest grossing dead star in the world as of 2013, with a Cirque du Soleil show based on his music and his new album ‘Xscape’ recently released. And his estate has announced plans for as many as eight more posthumous albums made up of music MJ either never released or started but was unable to finish before his untimely death in 2009.

More bad news for popular boy band One Direction. Hot on the heels of the leak of a video showing band members Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson smoking a joint comes word that the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines has urged that country’s government to ban the British/Irish group from performing there in March, calling the boys “drug addicts” and “a poisonous influence.”
And finally, he may have the most watched YouTube video of all time, with more than 2 billion views for ‘Gangnam Style’, but Psy is not resting on that success. The South Korean rapper recently joined forces with hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg for a new track called ‘Hangover’. The video shows the two musicians hosting an alcohol filled party, swimming, playing pool and singing while surrounded by twerking models. The collaboration is available for download now. — Cover Media
