LOS ANGELES, July 10 — LL Cool J, Doug E Fresh, K'Naan and 50 Cent have all written books for children -- but now the progeny of Lil Wayne and Birdman are writing about life from the kids' point of view in "Paparazzi Princess."

Reginae Carter (@reginae_carter1) and Bria Williams (@briawilliams14), daughters of Lil Wayne and Birdman, have teamed up to write and promote a novel about teens with celebrity parents, writes Entertainment Weekly.

The pair appeared at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans on Saturday, July 6, autographing copies of the book, which had been released two days earlier.

It's about the unique pressures of life as the child of a huge star as well as with the sort "everyday drama" that everyone faces but turned up to eleven, as main characters Kayla and Promise search for trustworthy friends and a solid sense of identity.

Reginae Carter, whose dad Dwayne performs as Lil Wayne, and Bria Williams, daughter of Bryan (Birdman), are both New Orleans girls whose fathers became friends during their time in the city.

Co-author Karyn Langhorne Folan also has family connections, having worked with Reginae's mother, Antonia Carter, on the autobiographical "Priceless Inspirations." - AFP-Relaxnews
