SERI KEMBANGAN, March 1 ― A man was shot dead by two unidentified suspects at the bus stop of a primary school here today.

Selangor Criminal Investigations Department chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Fadzil Ahmat said police were alerted around 5.45pm after two unidentified men had shot the victim, who was in his 40s, in front of SK Sri Serdang, Seri Kembangan.

"Our forensics unit are conducting their investigations at this moment and it is still to early to conclude anything," he said without revealing further.

The case has been classified as murder.

Eyewitnesses at the scene claimed to have seen the killers disembarking from a motorcycle before firing several shots at the man who was waiting at the bus stop.

Fadzil said a passer-by in his 30s suffered gunshot wounds after a stray bullet struck him on his back.

He said the victim is reportedly stable after seeking treatment at Hospital Serdang.
