NILAI, Oct 22 — In honour and memory of the founder of the YTL Group of companies, Tan Sri Dr Yeoh Tiong Lay, his family members jointly donated a total of RM8 million to 50 different organisations, schools, and associations

YTL Corp Managing Director Tan Sri Francis Yeoh, who is also his eldest son, said these donations serve to commemorate his passing and honour his memory by remembering his philanthropic spirit and generous heart.

“We believe that these donations are a natural extension of my father’s legacy. He was always deeply passionate about philanthropy and devoted much of his time to serving many of these organisations.

“Supporting education has also always been very close to his heart as he wanted everyone to have access to higher education that he wasn’t able to receive.
