KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 — Fans of Kwang Tung Dance Company (KTDC) will be happy to note that the dance troupe will be presenting a performance entitled “Pandora Experimental Box” at The Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Kwang Tung Association on 25 and 26 March 2017.
KTDC is well known for its avant-garde and bold approach in experimenting with new performance arts techniques and elements. Their dancers and choreographers have long worked together mainly with members of their own troupe but this time, there will be a departure from this tradition. KTDC dancers will be divided into six groups. Each group will consist of three to five artistes from various backgrounds who will to collaborate with KTDC dancers on a performance on their chosen themes.
Artistes who are involved in this upcoming show are Eugene Ng, Jaslyn Niow, Aaronz Cheah, Kok Siew Wai, Yong Yandsen, Christine Chew, Race Phua, Fairuz Sulaiman, Sudarshan Kumar, Ayam Fared, Mohd Akid Jabran, Ho Mun Hann and more! The audience can certainly expect more experimental, conceptual and exciting performances from this new collaboration.
As public support is integral to their journey and to the continued growth of dance in Malaysia, KTDC hopes that this performance will see a huge turnout. So mark your calendar and head over to The Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Kwang Tung Association for a fantastic experience.
