LOS ANGELES, May 25 — To celebrate the US holiday Memorial Day, Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas held a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to open their newest attraction, the SpongeBog SubPants Adventure.
It’s an interactive experience in which guests take a submarine voyage to the world of Bikini Bottom where 4D elements enhance the experience as bubbles, aromas and bouncing beach balls, according to a company press release.
A full day of SpongeBob SquarePants-themed festivities marked the opening of the ride, complete with dance performances by fellow Nickelodeon character Sandy Cheeks.
The ride costs US$18.95 for adults and US$16.95 for seniors and children.
