NEW YORK, Nov 3 — When the new Jimmy Fallon attraction opens at Universal Orlando Resort next spring, it will be billed as the world's first “flying theatre” whisking 72 guests through the streets of New York.

New details about the ride, which was first announced last year, have been revealed.

“Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon” will seat up to 72 “audience members” for an action-packed race that pits riders against Fallon in a race through the city that visits iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building.

The attraction will recreate Studio 6B in Rockefeller Centre where the show is recorded, and feature cameos by some of the show's popular characters like Sara from “Ew,” Jimmy in “Tight Pants,” “Tonight Show” announcer Steve Higgins and the band “The Roots.”

Fans can also take turns playing a talk show host themselves at the Interactive Desk, where they can write their own version of Fallon's popular “Thank you Notes” to their friends and family and watch clips from the show.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is the highest-rated US late night show in the US and boasts a 62-year-history that began in 1954 with hosts Steve Allen, Jack Paar, Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien and Fallon.

Props and set pieces from the show — one of the longest-running shows in television history — will be on exhibit, including suits worn by hosts, past and present, NBC video cameras used to record the shows throughout the years, and cue cards used in past episodes.

The theme park attraction is the latest Jimmy Fallon-branded product. Last year, Ben & Jerry's released “The Tonight Dough” in honor of Fallon's first season as talk show host.

“The Tonight Dough” is made with chocolate and caramel ice creams, chocolate chip cookie dough, peanut butter cookie dough and crunchy chocolate cookie swirl.
