KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 14 — Actor Fattah Amin will be taking a break from acting to focus on his business endeavours.

Since January, the 27-year-old Hero Remaja star said he has not taken on any filming commitments because he needs time and space to explore other activities outside of show business.

“I’ve not accepted any offers to act because I have to complete and focus on other commitments.

“Among them include diet brand MRP Diet Soup which will be launched next month,” he was quoted in an interview with Sinar Harian.

Although the range of diet soups — which includes flavours such as chicken, tom yum and mushroom — have been on the market for the past few months, he explained it will launch officially in March.

Apart from slimming soups, Fattah is working on a new event space for rent.

“I’m also setting up the Stalkers Cafe Event Space and Alhamdulillah, the bookings we received for the reception hall was very encouraging.

“We plan to perform a special acoustic showcase soon — Insya-Allah, Fazura will join us,” he revealed.

Fans of the Hero Seorang Cinderella actor will be able to catch Fattah in upcoming action flick KL Special Force in cinemas March 8 onwards.

The film, which stars Datuk Rosyam Nor and Syamsul Yusof, is Fattah’s breakaway from the usual romantic roles he has been cast in.

“In this movie, there were some scenes that required me to do tough and extreme stunts that are usually done by stunt actors,” he said.

With his upcoming wedding reception to Nur Fazura, the newlywed has never been busier.

“I have to carefully arrange my schedule to avoid chaos,” he told Sinar Harian at the preview of television drama Janji Zehan, which stars his wife Fazura.
