NEW YORK, Sept 29 — Actor Nathan Keyes has been cast as Justin Timberlake in Lifetime’s upcoming Britney Spears biopic which will premiere in 2017.
He will star alongside Natasha Bassett who has been cast as Spears in Britney, the two-hour TV movie on the pop star set to detail her rise to fame, famous break up with Timberlake, fall from grace and her eventual comeback (via EW).
Clayton Chitty will play Spears’ ex-husband, former backup dancer and father of her two children, Kevin Federline, with Nicole Oliver cast as Spears’ mother, Lynne Spears, Matthew Harrison to play her father, Jamie Spears; and Peter Benson to play Spears’ longtime manager Larry Rudolph.
The cast also includes Kelly McCabe as Jason Alexander, Spears’ childhood friend who she married for 55 hours in 2004; and Markian Tarasiuk and Tamara Thorsen to play Wade Robson, Spears’ former backup dancer and Jenna Dewan, *NSYNC backup dancer, respectively. — AFP/Relaxnews
