LOS ANGELES, Nov 2 — More and more details are emerging from Leah Remini’s explosive tell-all about the Church of Scientology.
In her new book “Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology”, the former “The King of Queens” star says the church was trying to recruit her best friend Jennifer Lopez and then husband Marc Anthony and she was asked to bring them to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ wedding.
Leah says that Suri, who was seven-months-old then, was left crying on the bathroom floor during the dinner party before the wedding. Apparently nobody did anything so Remini went looking for Suri and found her on the bathroom floor, with three women — including Cruise’s sister and his assistant — just standing over her and staring. Leah claims she finally convinced the women to pick up Suri and give her a bottle of milk.
Leah also claims the relationship of Cruise’s adopted children and their mother Nicole Kidman wasn’t good. She recalls asking Bella and Connor if they had seen their mother recently to which Bella allegedly replied, “Not if I have a choice. Our mom is a f***ing SP.”
SP stands for Suppressive Person, which is what Scientologists call people in their lives who question the church’s teachings.
