LOS ANGELES, Oct 15 — Jenny McCarthy isn’t happy with news that Playboy will be doing away with its nude centrefolds.
McCarthy actually kicked off her career in Hollywood by posing nude for the magazine in 1993 and was later named Playmate of the Year.
“It kind of breaks my heart that it’s the end of that era, that we have to lose what I would consider very classy nudity in a magazine,” McCarthy said on the SiriusXM talk show yesterday.
“In solidarity I will be wearing my panties at half-mast.”
McCarthy also expressed her interest in stripping down for the magazine one final time, before it pulls those glossy centrefolds by March 2016.
“I would totally be willing to just take it all off one more time — just to say I’ll be in the last one.”
