LOS ANGELES, Aug 4 — Jenna Dewan-Tatum is set to join the cast of Supergirl, according to entertainment website Variety.
Albeit not as well-known as her elder sister Lois Lane; Lucy is described as brash, funny and just as beautiful as Lois. Lucy is strong, smart and successful in her own right. She’s got a history with Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) and she’s come to town to right a previous wrong.
The actress, whose other TV credits include American Horror Story and The Playboy Club, joins Melissa Benoist and Calista Flockhart on the CBS superhero drama and will first appear in episode 3.
Lucy Lane has previously appeared on “Superman: The Animated Series,” “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” as well as “Smallville”.
Jenna’s husband, Channing Tatum, also just signed on to play Gambit in a movie of the same name, a spinoff of the ‘X-Men’ franchise.
