LOS ANGELES, Dec 4 — American actresses Kate Hudson and Kerry Washington will play bitter rivals in a thriller to be helmed by British director Amma Asante (“Belle”) for Warner Bros, Variety reports.
“Unforgettable” centres on a man whose new bride is threatened by his ex-wife.
Kate Hudson plays the former wife who goes after her old flame’s new wife played by Kerry Washington. There is no word yet on which actors might be eyed for the male lead.
Washington, seen on TV since 2012 as the star of “Scandal”, brought her acting chops to the silver screen in Quentin Tarantino’s 2013 film “Django Unchained”, in which she played the slave Bloomhilda von Shaft.
Hudson was recently seen in Zach Braff’s latest film “Wish I Was Here” and in the thriller “Good People” with James Franco, which had a limited release in the US this autumn.
In 2015, she will return to cinemas alongside Bill Murray and Bruce Willis in the dramatic comedy “Rock the Kasbah”. — AFP-Relaxnews
