KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 8 — Tune Hotels, together with Australia’s property investment specialist, ResCom Group, officially opened Belvedere Apartments in Melbourne.
Tune Hotel and ResCom in a joint statement today said the opening of the apartment, which has the gross development value of about RM60 million, was in conjunction with the launching of Tune Hotel Melbourne, Tune Hotels’ first Australian property.
ResCom managing director Brad Matthews said Belvedere Apartments bring out the best in accommodation, hospitality and property investments with contemporary lifestyle accommodation that will provide long-term growth for both the investor and discerning owner-occupier.
“Working with Tune Hotels, our vision was to create a landmark in one of Melbourne’s most strategic locations,” he said.
Occupying three levels above Tune Hotel Melbourne, Belvedere Apartments consists of 42 residential units including a penthouse and is located within close proximity to Melbourne Central Business District and Melbourne University as well as other main attractions.
The high demand for the apartments, priced between A$320,000 (RM960,000) and A$520,000, was proven when 95 per cent of the units was sold within the first two weeks of its launching in Singapore and Malaysia.
“We believe our strength in understanding both the Malaysian and Australian markets, and the ability to provide sound investment advice helped ResCom and Tune succeed with the project.
“We are positive that our business relationship with Tune Hotels will continue to grow and we look forward to more fruitful projects with Tune Hotels in the future,” he added. — Bernama
