MELAKA, Dec 4 ― Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani and Chief of Army Gen Tan Sri Zamrose Mohd Zain head a list of 58 recipients of awards, honours and medals in conjunction with the 72nd birthday celebration of Melaka Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Mohd Ali Rustam today.
They received the Darjah Gemilang Seri Melaka (DGSM), which carries the title of “Datuk Seri”, at an investiture ceremony at Kompleks Seri Negeri here.
Seven individuals received the Darjah Cemerlang Seri Melaka (DCSM), which carries the title of “Datuk Wira”.
They are Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali's wife, Datuk Wira Munira M Yusop, Bukit Aman Special Branch director Datuk Wira Zamri Yahya, former national football player Datuk Wira Soh Chin Ann, former Sungai Rambai state assemblyman Datuk Wira Hasan Abd Rahman, Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry secretary-general Datuk Wira Dr Noor Zari Hamat, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) vice-president Datuk Wira Mohd Rafiq Naizamohideen and corporate figure Datuk Wira Abdul Mutalif Abdul Rahim.
Melaka High Court judge Datuk Anselm Charles Fernandis received the Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka (DMSM), which carries the title of “Datuk”.
A total of 48 individuals received the Darjah Pangkuan Seri Melaka (DPSM), which also carries the title of “Datuk”.
They are State Legal Adviser Datuk Abd Aziz Engan, State Information Technology and Communication Services Division head Datuk Shamsudin Sharif, Tabung Amanah Pendidikan Negeri Melaka general manager Datuk Mustafa Musa, Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department principal assistant director (D9) Datuk Dennis Lim Kwang Keng, Datuk Dr Suhana Md Saleh, Datuk Dr Abd Kahar Abd Asis, Datuk Dr Abd Lah@Abdullah Awang, Datuk Chua Seng Leang and Datuk Afeef Abdul Qader Mansoor Al-Gailani.
