IPOH, Sept 13 — The trio from Negeri Sembilan who interestingly narrated the history of Tun Abdul Razak won the national-level ‘Pengisahan Kenegaraan 2015’ competition which took place at Dewan Seri Perdana, Ulu Kinta Allied Health Science College, here today.

The trio, comprising Noorhisyam Razali, 36, Mohd Norhafifi Zolkiaply, 29 and Muhamad Noriman Mustafa All Bakry, 26, who called themselves ‘Alahai Anak Omak’, beat 15 other teams to take the first prize.

With the victory, they bagged cash prize of RM6,000, Setia Budi championship Cup, accompanying trophy and certificate.

“Penang Opera’ team from Penang who presented a narration of Rentap, the Warrior of Sarawak, took second place, while ‘Lentera Jauhar’ team from Johor, finished third.

They received cash prize of RM5,000 and RM4,000, with a trophy and a certificate respectively.

Noorhisyam said the narration of Tun Abdul Razak sent a message to the people of all races and ages to always remember the great sacrifice and profound service of Malaysia’s second Prime Minister.

“We chose the subject because Tun Abdul Razak is the Father of Development and also the father of the current prime minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak,” he added.— Bernama
