PETALING JAYA, Oct 19 — DAP’s Dyana Sofya slammed the release of photos allegedly showing her kissing Bukit Bendera MP Zairil Khir Johari, calling it “disgusting”, according to The Star today.
“Sigh. Not again. Prolly its (sic) time to take real bikini photos! Okay. I was kidding,” she tweeted early today on her Twitter account @dyanasmd, seemingly referencing the incident.
The pictures, who showed a man and a woman who resembled Zairil and Dyana kissing in various locations, were released early this morning and quickly went viral.
Dyana expressed her frustrated at how ‘gutter politics’ are constantly used against the Opposition but refused to stoop to that level by commenting further.
“Not the first time doctored photos used against me. This is gutter politics and I’m sure it won’t be the last time,” she added.
Zairil too, has not responded to question on whether the Facebook account where the pictures were uploaded was fake or whether a hacker had gained access to his personal account.
Zairil said that it was “gutter politics at its lowest,” as quoted by the news portal.
“Would rather not dignify the issue further,” he added.
