PARIS, April 10 — Raf Simons has designed his first full eyewear collection for Calvin Klein since joining the fashion house in 2016.

The Belgian creative’s new eyewear range spans regular lenses and sunglasses for Calvin Klein 205W39NYC, Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jeans, with the collection set to be released periodically throughout the year, Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) reports. The fashion house offered fans an insight into what to expect via Instagram, where it recently published a preview of its Spring shades for men and women under the Calvin Klein Jeans label, featuring colourful mirrored lenses and retro frames.

According to WWD, the Calvin Klein 205W39NYC lenses will be priced from US$425 (RM1,642) to US$525, while the Calvin Klein pieces will retail at between US$139 and US$260. Those designed for Calvin Klein Jeans will be sold at US$99 through US$239.

The collection is the latest example of how Simons, who was recruited as Calvin Klein’s Chief Creative Officer in August 2016, is putting his own distinctive stamp on the US heritage label. Prior to his stateside position, the designer had previously spent more than three years as creative director at Christian Dior. — AFP-Relaxnews
