KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 25 — The Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) will increase the frequency of KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit on March 1, 2016 to accommodate the needs of air travellers and commuting passengers.

In a statement, it said for KLIA Ekspres, peak hour schedule would be introduced on Sundays for the convenience of business travellers.

Trains will run every 15 minutes during the morning peak hours starting 6am to 9am and in the evening peak hours from 4pm to 10pm from Sunday to Friday.

“Trains will run every 20 minutes during off-peak hours while on Saturday, trains will continue to remain on off-peak schedule all day,” said the train service operator which connects KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA and KLIA2) and the city.

Meanwhile, for KLIA Transit, ERL said there would be additional services in the morning of weekdays and evening peak hours with trains departing every 20 minutes or three services per hour.

The morning peak hours are from 6am to 9am while the evening peak hours are from 4pm to 7pm.
