KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 — Here’s your chance to meet the man behind some of Malaysia’s favourite food brands this weekend.
Group CEO of The Big Group, Benjamin Yong, will be making a personal appearance at Ben’s Independent Grocer in Publika at 4pm this Sunday, January 31.
As they say, the proof is in the pudding, and the self-professed foodie will not only be speaking about his love of good eats, but also demonstrating a recipe from his recently launched cookbook, The BIG Life.
He will be conducting a book signing session after the demonstration too.
Over the past few years, Yong has helped to transform the Klang Valley’s culinary landscape with restaurants such Ben’s, Plan B and Ben’s General Food Store, as well as fine-dining gems Mario & Luigi, Bakar and Beast. He is also responsible for the popular Ben’s Independent Grocer.
The BIG Life features a selection of recipes gleaned from The BIG Group’s kitchens, such as Nasi Ulam from Ben’s and sweet treats from Ben’s Bake Shop.
The cookbook is sold at all restaurants under The BIG Group, Ben’s Independent Grocer and their online store, BIG Online (www.bigonline.co). It is priced at RM119.
