NEW YORK, Nov 21 — It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Pop singer Gwen Stefani lit New York City’s Empire State Building with the holiday colours of red, green and gold yesterday.

Standing in the lobby of the skyscraper, dressed in a black dress, Stefani flipped the switch to symbolically light the building.

The event was more than a kick off to the festive holiday season. It was also a promotion for the Empire State Building’s Holiday Light Show where the building lights will rhythmically change colours in tune to Stefani’s new song You Make It Feel Like Christmas.

“This is beyond a dream come true,” said the three-time Grammy winner. “I can’t even image I get to be part of this holiday light show and it’s a song that I wrote with Blake and it’s going to be choreographed in this amazing, legendary building.”
