SEOUL, Oct 26 — The clock is ticking down to Korea’s showbiz wedding of the year and the rumours are flying just as fast.

It was previously reported by Korean media that Song Joong-ki’s wedding to his Descendants of the Sun co-star Song Hye-kyo on October 31 would have no marriage officiant.

Instead, one of Joong-ki’s good friends would be tasked with being the emcee.

Naturally, fans assumed that the role would go to the groom’s BFF and Running Man star, Lee Kwang-soo.

Yesterday, Lee’s agency shot down the rumours, stating that “while Kwang Soo would be attending Joong-ki and Hye-kyo’s wedding, he would not be hosting the ceremony.”

No other details are known about the ceremony that will take place at the luxury Shilla hotel in Seoul — other than that Hye-kyo’s bestie, Ock Joo-hyun, will be performing.

The pair who are known by fans as the Song-Song couple announced their engagement in July, following months of denial that they were even dating.

They have confirmed that they will honeymoon in Europe after what is said to be an intimate wedding in front of close family and friends.
