LOS ANGELES, FEB 4 — Jessica Chastain is set to star in the upcoming feature film “Woman Walks Ahead.”

The actress will take on the leading role of Catherine Weldon in the cinematic adaptation of a true story that tells the tale of a Brooklyn artist who travels to Dakota Territory to help Sitting Bull hold onto his people’s land, which the government was trying to wrestle away, Deadline reports.

Susanna White will direct and Ed Zwick, Marshall Herzkovitz, Rick Solomon and Erika Olde of Black Bicycle Entertainment will produce.

It is the latest high-profile for Chastain, whose additional upcoming projects include the Snow White sequel “The Huntsman Winter’s War” and the gun control drama “Miss Sloane.” — AFP Relaxnews
