NEW DELHI, June 1 — Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, who will be seen in the upcoming “Jurrasic World”, has revealed that he took on the film to please his sons.
According to a report from Bollywood.com, Irrfan’s sons Babil, seven, and Aryan, 12, insisted that he be a part of the project.
A source revealed: “Irrfan will be playing the character of Simon Masrani who is the owner of ‘Jurrasic World’ and he was emotionally tricked by his kids to sign the film as they wanted to see him in this role.”
The source further revealed that Irrfan sealed the deal after seeing the excitement from his kids — though it’s no surprise the offer was surely equally tempting.
“His kids told him that there was no way he was saying no to this,” adds the source.
“My kids are my biggest critics. I was sure that this is the right role for me after seeing their enthusiasm,” says Irrfan, adding, “I always wanted to engage kids with my films. This is why I was thrilled to sign this film.”
